Sean's song of the night #3
Guster
Satellite
Shining like a work of art
Hanging on a wall of stars
Are you what I think you are?
You're my satellite
You're riding with me tonight
Passenger side, lighting the sky
Always the first star that I find
You're my satellite
Elevator to the moon
Whistling our favorite tune
Trying to get a closer view
You're my satellite
You're riding with me tonight
Passenger side, lighting the sky
Always the first star that I find
You're my satellite
Maybe you will always be
Just a little out of reach
You're my satellite
You're riding with me tonight
Passenger side, lighting the sky
Always the first star that I find
You're my satellite
You're my satellite

Shining like a work of art

Sean & Coast Third Anniversary Party
The following was written while drunk the night in question.
"Last night was my party celebrating three long years at Coast Mountain Sports. I just want to thank all those in attendance!
Dan, Fernando, Kevin, Will, Mike G, Jason, Caitilin, Joe, Sonya and Vanessa....i think the last three are right, i didin't know you previously and was somewhat intoxicated. and thanks for Rich and Sara for doing their jobs and making Pics the fine and wonderful establishment that it is.
The old Imperial was...well the same as it always is, and it was nice to chill. And Pics was fun, and i shall have to go back one day without a backpack.
So that was three years. the next year looks to be an exciting one, with my upcomming return to sales! The age of the manshier is at an end."
I'll leave the typos in for the memories sake. However Coast and I have a long relationship, ever evolving and I'm sure there are more memories still to come.

For want of a Burger! #1
After Steak, Burgers are my more accessible option for good eating. so inspired by this website A Hamburger Today I bring to you a new recurring blog feature, For Want of a Burger!
Today's Burger is... The Hard Rock's Legendary Burger
Menu Description:
Legendary 10 oz Burger
Famous the world over: ten ounces of fresh
Certified Angus Beef, topped with seasoned
bacon, two slices of Cheddar cheese and
a crisp fried onion ring.
The Burger:
At 10z, its a larger burger, and is served nice and juicy. the Fried Onion Ring nicely co-mingles with the burger, and with the required Bacon and Cheese, you got an all around enjoyable burger. (B+)
Sides:
The fries are tasty, and of decent size, but are almost too few in number. The Gravy was decent, but far from outstanding. (C-)
Value:
The Hard Rock is not a cheap place. price for a solo meal was above $15. Given the skimpy extras, its not the best value to be had. (C-)
Overall:
A great burger is held back by its poor supporting players and a high price. Still, it is worth getting when you feel like a bit of a splurge. (C+)
Other Comments: The Hard Rock has a great atmosphere, and the service was very enjoyable. It is definitely not an everyday eating establishment though, so unless your prepared to spend the money, the Legendary Burger may have to remain just that, a legend.

Lets go Blue Jays...
Thanks to the joy that is twoonie Tuesday, myself and the sportchek/Coast Mountain crew went and saw the Toronto Blue Jays get destroyed by the Boston Red Sox, with the final being 9-2.
Firstly, baseball should go on a diet and loose a few innings, cause right around the 7th inning it was just getting futile.
Secondly, you know there are issues with something when the crowd starts cheering the fantastic flights of paper airplanes rather then the game...ONE ALMOST LANDED ON HOME PLATE! SWEET!!!!
Despite baseballs short comings, it was still fun to get out of the house and hang out with the work people, they're fun!
EDIT: I almost totally forgot to mention a man who has the funniest name in baseball, if not ever. Coco Crisp, outfielder for the Boston Red Soxs....
You can't make that up.
